More than just a painting contractor. My vision for my house was a long time coming but finally a reality thanks to Jeff. I had siding panels that concealed mold inside. All of those needed to be replaced along with the insulation. Caulking needed to be redone after window installers dropped the ball. All was taken care of, caulked and sealed and then painted to my desired colors. Jeff gave it some love and attention and it looked beautiful again. Great work with excellent professionals. Jeff was knowledgeable, responsive to questions, thorough in his work, and extremely competent. He came out to check on our flat roof for a new house that had in its history a roof repair, which made us concerned about the condition of the roof and that repair. We all walked the roof together and he showed us where the protective coating needed to be patched and was able to assure us of the excellent condition of our new home. He has a big personality and we laughed a lot while getting the assessment done. Jeff took great care of us and showed us pictures of his work when he was finished. He also looked over the area of roof that had been repaired and reported that it was done right and needed nothing further. How refreshing to have an honest contractor! At some point we'll be painting the exterior of the home, and Jeff is who we'll be calling. I highly recommend him :)

We live in Troon in the Pinnacle Peak (North Scottsdale) area. We needed to have some repair and painting work down on our gate arch and front stucco wall. Per recommendation of our association's management company, we used Classic Shades Painting for the project. Jeff, the owner, came over and gave a reasonable estimate. On Monday he did the repair and painting of the gate arch and front stucco wall. He also walked the property and fixed and painted different cracks in the walls and also on the house. He basically did a lot more than his original proposal and did not charge us extra. The place really looks terrific.

We just completed the 2-week process of having our entire 2-story house repainted by Jeff Pinosky at Classic Shades Painting and are very happy with the result and how the entire process went. His bid beat the other two bids we received, and we were not nickel and dimed along the way like some contractors try to do. Jeff is meticulous and did most of the work himself, with the occasional assistance of one person, rather than subcontract the work out to a large team like the other companies proposed doing. We had just replaced our roof, which resulted in a lot of exposed bare wood fascia that needed special attention. Jeff also suggested painting our shade screens black, which looks incredible. He also did a bunch of extra work like replacing exterior light fixtures and speakers, and repairing some water damaged stucco. He really cares about his work, shares a lot of information along the way, and asks a lot of questions to make sure everything is exactly how you want it. We love his work and would recommend him to others.

Jeff was punctual, thorough, detailed, passionate and hardworking of the task in hand. He was always on time and help guide us in picking colors for our exterior home painting and provided suggestions where needed. Can’t speak on pricing due to renting, but can speak on quality and customer service. Jeff was so kind and kept communication clear on when he would be over and what his work plan was. I live in Gilbert, AZ and I had my house painted by Jeff at Classic Shades Painting recently. My house was a darker brown, and we chose a new palette that's much lighter (a pale grey for the body). Jeff warned me it was going to take some extra paint, to get good coverage, and we went in to the job aware of some of the challenges he would face. He is so detail oriented and customer service oriented, that he sprayed a first coat, noticed it wasn't quite covering so he back-rolled a second coat, and then once he had complete coverage, he sprayed a third coat of paint over the top, ensuring complete coverage, no bleed though, and a long life for the paint. He is meticulous with his lines, and very careful about protecting everything (especially the neighbor's property, vehicles, etc.) from overspray. His equipment is very low-noise (I could barely hear the sprayer, even when he was working right outside the window where I was sitting), and his "crew" of two consisted of a journeyman carpenter (who came in very handy with some of my "extras") and the painter (Jeff, himself). He really wants his clients to be completely satisfied, and went above and beyond a few times, on this project. He will tell you his work is amazing, as will most painters, but here's a difference - Jeff's work really IS amazing. He takes a lot of pride in his work, and he treated my home as though it were his own. I mean, instead of painting around a shed that sits against one wall, he pulled the shed out, painted BEHIND it, and then painted the shed to match the house (small upcharge, discussed and agreed to in advance). I was expecting him to take shortcuts, to try and get away with less than perfect work in areas that are hard to see, or unseen (like under the angles of the high ridges on my roof - he crawled in there and painted those by hand, when he couldn't get in there with equipment - because he wanted that area to have lines just as sharp as the rest of the house!!). There are so many things that Jeff did well, I can't say enough about the quality of his work. If you hire Jeff to do your job, and you aren't happy at the end, you are probably the type of person who will find a reason to complain about ice being cold!! Seriously, this guy does excellent work. The only thing I can think of that would make Jeff's work even better, is if he were to do it for free. I can't even complain about his price. In truth, he was a little higher than a couple of other quotes I had in hand, but talking with him about his approach, I decided to pay a little more, and I am SO glad I did. I am beyond happy with the job he did, and like I said, he threw in several extra little items that most other companies wouldn't even TELL you about, let alone fix. The previous two paint companies' work had to be refreshed or redone in about 5 years. Looking at this job, I think it's going to be the last time I have my house painted for 10-15 years. My house looks AMAZING! Thank you, Jeff and Classic Shades Painting!

Jeff Pinosky is a business owner with integrity. He undertook my exterior wall painting, interior garage painting, and front door fix (the door's paint had bubbled after 2 years of heat exposure--> another company's work). Jeff in one word is awesome. We have a ~5k SQ ft custom home which feels massive to me. He and his crew worked diligently for 10 days to fix all the stucco issues and paint it. He put in new product on 5 of my rolled roofs and replaced broken roof tiles. He also painted around my pool and deck. They did an excellent job, prepping and painting the house and our exterior walls. We had just had our windows replaced and were concerned with keeping them, and our pool, clean from any overspray or other damage. Classic Shades did a great job. They also did some minor roof repairs when they painted the chimney. I would definitely use them again. Great price, excellent value!

I am not a review writer...of businesses good or bad, this is the only company that impressed me enough to take the time. I originally contacted Jeff at Classic Shades for a quote to paint the exterior of my house. I found Classic Shades in a post on Craigslist, along with a few others. After contacting the 3 possible companies, Jeff was the only one that actually called me, rather than text. He was the only one professional enough to come to the house to complete the estimate. He asked a lot of questions to ensure that he had the same vision and offered several suggestions. We had scheduled a date to start a short time after that. On day 1, Jeff and Shawn showed up early and immediately got started. They completed the job on schedule and transformed my home into something I am very proud of. In the end, I had a 3 color combination, with a matching pool deck and refinished sunscreens. If you want a quality job from a dependable company, Classic Shades Painting is the first company to call.

Very highly recommend Classic Shades Painting!! My house was in dire need of some TLC, I had let the outside go for far too long. I figured with all the restoration (sanding/prepping) needed even before painting was to happen it was going to be very expensive. Jeff came back with an extremely reasonable amount of $2500, much lower than I was anticipating. He did the work while I was out of town and kept me updated with daily texts of some before and after pictures. Its clear that Jeff takes pride in his work and his goal is to make each house looks its best. Overall, I am VERY happy with the results, and am so glad I chose Classic Shades Painting.

Jeff's communication prior to the job commencing was great. He originally bid it to fully repaint the exterior of our house for a very reasonable $2,100 (with another bid from another company coming in over $2,500). As I'd just had some stucco patching done and the remainder of the house's paint was in acceptable condition, I asked if he could just do a touch-up of the newly-stucco'ed areas. He went by, got a color sample, matched it somewhere, and said yes, that he could do it for $500! He did the job and then some (some extra areas we'd not originally discussed), and it looks fantastic. When it's time for a full exterior repaint, you better believe I'll be calling Jeff @ Classic Shades again!

I worked with Jeff over the years on several projects. He painted for me the exterior of several homes, kitchen cabinets and interior paint, as well. He is very diligent with his work. I had 3 companies come out and quote me for a house painting. I did not care too much for their responsiveness and attitude (surprisingly). So, I asked around the office where I work and a co-worker of mine referred me to Classic Shades Painting. I like word of mouth referrals, but I also look at written reviews to back up that referral. I was pleased. First let’s talk about the team. They were fantastic. They were not pushy or dismissive. Classic Shades Painting was detailed with their process, on time and cleaned up area very well (worth mentioning because I had some other work done and clean up was not so good). With that being said, I highly recommend Classic Shades Painting. Jeffrey listened to my concerns and wants and made great suggestions. He was very honest about what could or couldn’t be done. Jeff and Hector his trainee recently painted our house. The gave a great quote, worked us into the schedule within a few weeks and did a marvelous job. They were communicative, showed up on time and finished promptly. Jeff did multiple fixes and restores on our house, including fixing/replacing old siding on our house and patching the stucco. The facing board at the roof line was also gone over and he repaired all cracks and screwed the corners together prior to painting. The house was painted with quality Sherwin Williams semi gloss paint multiple coats. I came out looking like new. He also did the walls around our property. Jeff the owner was onsite working every day, unlike so many contractors who will hire day labor that can't speak English and really don't know what they are doing) NOT Jeff. His trainee speaks fluent English and did a marvelous job. In all Jeff gets a 100% recommendation from me, and will be my goto for future painting projects.

First off I’m OCD and work in quality control so it takes a lot to impress me and I wouldn’t just let anyone work on my home.
